Bangalore/India – 30th October 2015. CeBIT is the largest IT expo across the globe, attended by leading technology innovators, academia, service providers as well as global IT buyers. Every year, the Hannover fair attracts footfall of about two lakh senior business leaders, technology heads, industrial scientists and top policy makers across the world for discussing and forging serious collaborations. More than 300 Indian engineering companies, including public sector giants participated at this year’s fair, seeking technology collaborations, business tie-ups and showcasing their capabilities to be the world supplier of high-tech goods and specialised services. This Indo-German partnership is set to be further strengthened at CeBIT Hannover 2016, as the show will highlight Indian contribution to global technology innovation.

The CeBIT d!conomy Conference, a joint production between Deutsche Messe’s CeBIT team and Euroforum, is dedicated to digital transformation as the key to future competitiveness. It is endorsed by Germany’s Minister of Economics, Sigmar Gabriel, who has agreed to act as the event’s official patron. “It is very pleasing see that CeBIT, the world’s biggest digital showcase, has initiated a new conference,” he said.
Vodafone, a conference partner, will deliver a keynote address and organize a special evening event. The d!conomy Conference is a valuable opportunity for business users to talk about what digital transformation means for them.
