John Lombard to Lead NTT Asia Pacific Operations

Singapore, 1 July 2019 – NTT Ltd., the new USD 11 billion global technology services company today announced the appointment of John Lombard as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Asia Pacific. His appointment will take effect on 1 July 2019, and he will be responsible for NTT’s global business in Asia Pacific, excluding Japan and Australia.

As the CEO, John manages the end-to-end go-to-market, sales, delivery, operations, and profitability for Asia Pacific. NTT Ltd. is incorporated on 1 July 2019 to bring together 28 businesses, including Dimension Data, NTT Communications, and NTT Security, into a single global technology services company.

Lombard joined Dimension Data as the Asia Pacific CEO in May 2016.  He has over 25 years of leadership and management consulting experience.  Prior to Dimension Data Lombard worked at SAP, where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Services, responsible for services and support. Prior to SAP, Lombard was the CEO and Managing Director of Crowe Horwath Australasia Ltd. (formerly WHK Group), which was Australia and New Zealand’s largest publicly listed integrated financial and business advisory company.

John is also the co-founder of #HeforShe for LeanIn Asia, which helps create an environment that enables women to #LeanIn to their careers and passions. He also serves on the board of directors of Very Special Arts Singapore. John holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.
