New Delhi, January 11, 2023: Metadome.ai, an immersive 3D & XR technology company that enables cloud-based photorealistic customer experiences, and MG Motor, a global automotive brand, announced a partnership to transform the automaker’s customer experiences across all channels — web, app, and in-store. It announced that it will unveil a metaverse called MGVerse.

MGVerse is a web-based photorealistic Metaverse, that will have an arena with an expansive virtual world, an avatar zone, and a creator zone consisting of a multi-car showroom with a 3D car configurator and an opportunity to experience virtual test drives. Additionally, the MGVerse will bring a replica of the MG pavilion at Auto Expo 2023, empowering the internet and automotive enthusiast community to visit the Auto Expo virtually from the comfort of their homes in an industry-first immersive approach.

The strategic partnership with Metadome will leverage its flagship automotive platform, Autodome, and would benefit from its cloud streaming technology, extending the brand’s reach to new-age buyers. The move reflects the brand’s strategy to constantly explore, innovate, improvise, and develop new solutions with future-ready technologies.

The immersive experience, hosted on the brand’s website and accessible through all devices, will deliver a distinctly elevated level of personalized, social, and visually stunning experiences, setting a benchmark in how automotive brands interact with their customers. Furthermore, the experience will be collaborative, with multiplayer capabilities, enabling social sharing to refine the auto experience and allow consumers to book a real test drive of their favorite car.

Autodome, Metadome’s flagship automotive platform, is the world’s only web-based platform for immersive customer experiences and offers a complete stack of cloud-based photorealistic 3D and XR applications. It enables automakers to drive awareness, engagement, and bookings among new-age automotive consumers and accelerate their XR and Metaverse adoption.

Commenting on the occasion of the MGVerse go-live, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said, “With the automotive buying journey moving online and new-age customers demanding digital products and brand experiences more than ever, MGverse, the first of its kind is creating a new era of immersive customer experiences. “MG Motor is one of the leading innovators in the automotive space, and their appetite for immersive technology is an exciting proposition for Metadome.ai.
