Robert August Bosch was a German inventor, engineer and industrialist who founded Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch), one of the world’s leading engineering firms, in 1886. After working at various companies in the US, UK, and Germany, Mr. Bosch opened his own "Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering" in Stuttgart, Germany. The world remembers Robert Bosch on his 159th anniversary (born 23 September 1861).
