The first factory building from early the 1900s. In 1917, Bosch transformed his business into a corporation and established Robert Bosch GmbH (Bosch), which went on to become one of the world’s leading engineering firms. His company largely benefited from the armament contracts during the First World War, but Bosch open-heartedly donated more than ten million Reich marks back to the German public.
